Delegate with Ease in 8 Simple Steps

Today we’re tackling a topic that I know doesn’t come easy to many of us, particularly the entrepreneurial types, because we’re perfectionists, control freaks and don’t like to let go (I say that tongue in cheek and a little guilty of all three). Todays discussion is on delegating.
You can’t grow your business and develop your team if you don’t delegate, but getting it right can be tricky. In this episode I share an 8 step process to delegating anything effectively and with ease.
The 8 steps are simple:
- Learn to let go;
- Choose wisely;
- Explain why;
- Communicate clearly;
- Set parameters;
- Provide training and resources;
- Hand over responsibility;
Sounds simple but what I’ve learnt is that delegating is one thing, delegating well, successfully and effectively is an entire other. This framework ensures your success.
